Have fun blocking a beautiful hat with felt or straw to a high professional standard. This workshop is open to all levels from beginners to advanced.
This is your opportunity to delve into my wonderful collection of old and new hat blocks to create a beautifully constructed hat of your own or as a gift for a loved one, You will;

Decide on your own style by choosing from a range of wooden hat blocks. For example a1920's cloche, trilby, fedora, bowler or even a top hat, the choice is yours!

Decide the material..felt or straw and the colour, plenty of options are available on the day, or you can choose in advance.

Learn how to hand shape your hat using steam over the blocks.

Be taught how to hand sew the wire and ribbon around the crown and the brim

Decorate your hat with a ribbon or feather trim
